Articles of Faith - Scriptures:

Num. 11: 16-17, "And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.

"And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone."

Luke 6: 13, "And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles."

Luke 10: 1, "AFTER these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come."

John 15: 16, "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."

Moro. 3: 1-4, "THE manner which the disciples, who were called the elders of the church, ordained priests and teachers—

"After they had prayed unto the Father in the name of Christ, they laid their hands upon them, and said:

"In the name of Jesus Christ I ordain you to be a priest, (or, if he be a teacher) I ordain you to be a teacher, to preach repentance and remission of sins through Jesus Christ, by the endurance of faith on his name to the end. Amen.

"And after this manner did they ordain priests and teachers, according to the gifts and callings of God unto men; and they ordained them by the power of the Holy Ghost, which was in them."
