Lahore (Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore) started performing as a supervisory body in 1954 is responsible for conducting matriculation and intermediate examinations within the dominion. The areas under BISE Lahore jurisdiction are Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikupura, and Nankana Sahib and it conducts matric and inter examinations for the candidates belonging to the schools and colleges of these areas
